Rails, clamps and kits, quoted for projects

Solar buyers order a whole structure for a project, such as a 500 kW ground mount or a metal-roof array. Your Digital Booth holds each rail, clamp, purlin and kit with its options. It shows the prices you set and sends each project enquiry to your inbox, so your team can answer before the tender closes.

What buyers ask

Project quotes before the tender closes

A solar mounting structure manufacturer hears the same three questions on almost every project enquiry. Each one waits for the estimator and a fresh bill of materials.

“What does the kit cost per kilowatt?”

EPC buyers compare suppliers on price per kWp for a given layout. They want the rails, clamps, purlins and fasteners priced together, with the coating they specified.

“Anodised aluminium or galvanised steel?”

Coastal sites ask for anodised aluminium or a heavier zinc coat. Inland ground mounts often go hot-dip galvanised steel. Buyers want both prices before they lock the design.

“Which roof and panel sizes does it fit?”

Installers check roof type, panel dimensions and clamp range before anything else. They also ask for the wind and snow load figures you have tested or calculated.

How it works

From component lists to project quotes

You set up your components and prices once. After that, the booth answers project buyers from your product data and sends you every project layout.

01

Load your components and kits

Upload your Excel sheet of rails, clamps, purlins, legs and fasteners, or send phone photos. Poly9 writes each product with its profile, length, material and coating for you to check.

02

Set your prices and options

Enter a price for each rail, clamp and kit and each variant. Add the lengths and coatings buyers can pick, and one MOQ and lead time.

03

Buyers ask in plain words

A buyer types “rail kit for a 500 kW ground mount, anodised, 550 W panels”. The assistant shows the options you offer and sends the project to your inbox.

04

You price it and send

A project layout or site load case shows as price on request and lands in your inbox with the specification. Your estimator prices it and turns it into a quote in one click.

Each product carries the details an EPC buyer or installer checks before asking for a project quote.

  • Rail profiles, lengths and weight per metre, with splice and end options
  • Mid and end clamps by panel frame height, plus earthing and cable parts
  • Roof and ground options: metal roof, tile, flat roof ballast and pile-driven ground mount
  • Material and coating per product: anodised aluminium, hot-dip galvanised or zinc-magnesium steel
  • Wind and snow load figures you hold for each system, with the standard used
  • One MOQ and lead time per kit, with CBM and container fill in every quote you send

The assistant marked the 500 kW layout price on request and sent it to the estimator. The estimator priced it from their own BOM costing, and the quote shows CBM and container fill.

Questions from solar mounting structure manufacturers

Can Poly9 design a structure for a buyer’s site?
No. The booth shows the prices you set for your kits and components. A new layout, site load case or engineering request shows as price on request and goes to your inbox with the details, so your engineers decide.
Aluminium and steel prices move every week. Do we update every kit?
When a material rate changes, Poly9 shows which rails, legs, kits and open quotes it affects. You then update those prices, so project quotes reflect current metal costs and nothing is missed.
Can EPCs and distributors see different prices?
Share a collection with prices and MOQs shown or hidden, then send each buyer a quote at the terms you agreed. A large EPC on a framework price and a small installer each get their own quote for the same kit.
Can our whole sales and estimating team use it?
Yes. Your whole team is included. Sales follow buyer enquiries, and estimators work through the price-on-request items in the shared inbox, so project requests do not sit in one person’s email.
What does a Digital Booth cost?
